Public Sector Account Executive

A Global leader in blockchain transaction monitoring, our client is seeking a talented and motivated Account Executive with Public Sector experience to join their team of experts dedicated to combating financial crime and illicit activities within the cryptocurrency space.

The Position:

The appointed Account Executive will assume responsibility for:

· Leading the strategic expansion into the public sector across the US, attending meetings in the D.C Metropolitan area as needed

· Conduct sales needs analysis with new and prospective customers, including the development of client-centric product solutions

· Design, develop and deliver sales proposals and presentations on product benefits

· Self-generating leads by contacting prospective clients by telephone, on-site visits, networking and attending industry events

· Maintaining all sales databases necessary to report sales activity and customer information

· Closely working alongside other business support groups, including all sales support marketing and technical personnel

The Candidate:

Applicants will be expected to demonstrate:

· 3-5 years prior experience as an Account Executive

· Experience achieving success in early-stage SaaS start-up companies

· Strong relationships in government agencies & law enforcement alongside in-depth knowledge of government contracts & procurement vehicles

· Ability to work cross-departmentally, taking initiative to complete tasks and diving into new things

· Willing to be an advocate and voice for the public sector business

· Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise and use time effectively

· Ability to handle changing requirements and unforeseen problems rapidly and positively

· U.S Citizen
