This is an exciting opportunity to develop and execute strategies to drive sales growth and expand our client’s pharma business in Europe.

The Position:

Our client is a leading international supplier of pharmaceutical capsules with a mission is to provide high-quality offerings to its customers while fostering strong relationships with key stakeholders.  Focused on driving sales growth and expanding its business in Europe, the appointed Senior Business Development Manager will assume responsibility for:

  • Building a strong technical knowledge of the company’s offerings.
  • Nurturing relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Conducting market analysis.
  • Identifying and closing new business opportunities.
  • Managing the sales territory.
  • Analysing performance data.
  • Supporting marketing initiatives.
  • Contributing to long-term strategic planning for the pharma segment.

The Candidate:

Applicants will be expected to demonstrate:

  • A minimum bachelor’s degree qualification in a technical / science discipline
  • At least five years’ B2B sales management experience within the pharmaceutical sector, e.g. API’s, capsules, pharma packaging, contract manufacturing, excipients.
  • Proven ability in sales strategy, planning, market intelligence, negotiation, influencing, and working with multiple stakeholders.
  • Fluent written and verbal communication skills in English .
