Mid-Level Sales Support Representative

An established and nationally recognised provider of laboratory services is currently looking to appoint a talented and motivated Sales Support Representative for its rapidly expanding team.

The Position:

The successful candidate will help maintain profitable relationships with existing customers and  prospect for new toxicology business in Sacramento and its surrounding areas, with key accountabilities being to:

  • Work directly with the regional Territory Account Manager to service key accounts and provide regular feedback
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships, responding promptly to their requests and questions
  • Provide excellent customer service through in-person visits and multiple channels of communication
  • Help troubleshoot problems with clinical orders, client accounts and other related issues
  • Prospect to build a pipeline of new business opportunities
  • Provide administrative support to the territory, interfacing with multiple other departments in the company
  • Provide live and virtual video training and support to newly acquired accounts

Requirements:

  • Some sales or sales support experience, ideally in medical/pharmaceutical sales or related.
  • A minimum high school diploma qualification (bachelor’s degree preferred)
  • Excellent communication/interpersonal skills and a dedication to customer satisfaction
  • Proficiency in basic computer software systems including MS Office and MS Excel
  • Strong attention to detail, self-motivation and personal autonomy
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills to multitask, prioritize and escalate effectively
  • A willingness to travel as needed to customer locations.
