A leading provider of cross-border mid-market M&A advisory services is presently looking to appoint a Corporate Finance Executive to handle complex transactions from planning and research through to execution and delivery.

Responsibilities:

  • Supervising junior team members’ preparation of buyers’ research and acquisition targets, reviewing work and presenting to partners
  • Proactive research and application of sector knowledge to assist in deal origination
  • Providing well-researched insight and sector knowledge to assist partners in providing strategic client advice
  • Preparation of information on the financial direction of the target company
  • Creation of reports and financial summaries to assist with appraisal of target company
  • Preparation of robust and well considered financial forecasts
  • Preparation of sales/investment memoranda
  • Assistance in preparing and negotiating transaction heads of agreement
  • Engaging with interested parties, private equity, and debt funders
  • Working closely with legal, financial, and due diligence advisors in project managing M&A transactions
  • Liaising with M&A advisors across the globe in originating and advising upon cross border M&A transactions

Requirements:

  • ACA or ACCA qualification
  • A minimum three years’ professional services experience
  • Some corporate finance, deal, or advisory experience (desired)
  • Experience of colleague supervision and coaching, including ability to plan workflows
  • Strong data analytic skills – ability to analyse and interpret financial and commercial information
  • Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Excel and ideally PowerPoint
  • Good written skills – ability to write clearly and persuasively
  • Confident communicator – ability to communicate with clients about their business
  • Inquisitive mindset – naturally curious with a desire to learn
  • Ability to work to deadlines – willingness to work beyond standard hours when required
  • Ability to organise and track overlapping tasks and assignments, with frequent priority changes
  • An interest in developing a peer network amongst intermediaries (law firms, banks, private equity houses etc)
