We are working exclusively with a leading provider of driver sensing and occupant monitoring systems whose expansion has brought about an exciting requirement for an experienced Project Manager to work with global automotive OEM clients.

The Position:

The appointed Customer Project Manager will:

  • Drive customer satisfaction and product improvement
  • Serve as a key liaison between customers and the product management team
  • Collect and analyse customer feedback to inform product development on enhancement initiatives
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers and prospects
  • Represent the customer’s perspective within the organization
  • Proactively identify and develop business opportunities
  • Conduct thorough evaluations of market trends, project feasibility, and financial projections to assess opportunity viability
  • Collaborate with the sales team to develop and deliver compelling proposals for proofs of concept, requests for information, and requests for quotes
  • Manage pre-award project activities, including requirements gathering, issue resolution, and opportunity tracking
  • Oversee project execution from initiation to completion, ensuring cross-functional alignment and successful delivery
  • Contribute to effective problem-solving and issue resolution for customer-related challenges
  • Conduct market research to identify potential customers and opportunities.
  • Travel frequently (up to 30% of the time)

Requirements:

  • A minimum of five years’ technical sales, project management, product management, applications engineering or customer success experience
  • Experience of working for a Tier 1 automotive supplier
  • An understanding of automotive processors, camera components, ECU designs, and networking protocols within the infotainment or ADAS domain
  • Familiarity with automotive terminology and processes
  • Creative and agile problem-solving abilities
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, in English
  • Ability to explain complex technical information in a clear and concise manner
  • Strong customer relationship management skills
