The Position:
As Process Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in the optimization and development of our client’s production processes, with key responsibilities to include:
- Identifying areas for improvement in coating, lamination, and metallization processes, with a focus on reducing waste and downtime.
- Working closely with cross-functional teams to develop new products and enhance existing ones.
- Capitalising on your in-depth knowledge of rotogravure printing and coating technologies to achieve superior results.
- Driving the innovation of production processes, from conceptualization to implementation.
- Collaborating with quality control teams to ensure the highest product standards are met.
- Analyzing production data to make data-driven decisions for process improvement.
The Candidate:
Applicants will be expected to demonstrate:
- A strong understanding of coating, lamination, and metallization processes, with a strong focus on rotogravure printing.
- Hands-on experience with coating lines in the plastics film industry.
- A minimum bachelor’s degree in engineering or related
- Proven experience in product development and process engineering innovation
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Fluent communication skills in English and German.
