Project Manager

The Position:

The appointed Project Manager will assume responsibility for:

• Managing the team for automation implementation projects including automated guided vehicles, conveyors, workstations and storage / retrieval systems.
• Managing multiple concurrent projects and monitoring daily to track progress against planned schedules.
• Interacting effectively with customers as the key point of contact on projects.
• Managing scope, time, risk, and stakeholders to ensure successful delivery.
• Regularly updating executive management and project team members on project status, resource utilization, and high-level project timeline.
• Monitoring the financial performance of projects.
• Aligning cross-functional business and technical teams to ensure goals are aligned and conflicting priorities resolved.

The Candidate:

Applicants will be expected to demonstrate:

• A minimum bachelor’s degree qualification in engineering, business, finance, or related.
• At least three years’ proven project management experience.
• Specific experience of managing logistics automation projects
• Proficiency in the use of MS Office Suite and ERP systems.
• Strong interpersonal, leadership, and relationship-building skills
• A willingness to travel frequently (70% of the time) throughout Europe, the remaining time being home based
