We are currently looking to expand our research and delivery function with the appointment of an ambitious, thorough, and highly organised individual capable of assisting our 360 consultants in identifying the best talent for their clients’ contingency and retrained campaigns.
A successful executive recruitment business operating across a range of established and emerging sectors, Verrus have a proven track record for proactively delivering game-changing professionals to a predominantly international client base that ranges from rapid growth start-ups through to established corporations.
As a Research & Delivery Consultant with Verrus, you will be responsible for identifying mid-level to C-suite executives, primarily within our current principal areas of software, finance, technology, legal, life science, manufacturing, construction, and natural resources, with main responsibilities to include:
- Maximising coverage of clients’ vacancies and search campaigns
- Working with recruiters to take detailed briefs from clients and fully understand the preferred candidate profile.
- Performing detailed candidate searches on LinkedIn Recruiter, CRM/ATS and employment websites to create applicant longlists for screening by recruiters.
- Managing and prioritizing workflow with quality control criteria including projected fees, time constraints, level of decision maker, exclusivity levels and/or client history.
- Implementing a combination of research methodologies including pre-defined search filters, Boolean logic, and direct competitor mapping
- Working with consultants to generate market intelligence and competitor matrices for the proactive marketing of candidates to prospective employers.
- Identifying key decision makers and target stakeholders within prospect clients, including relevant accurate and compliant contact data
- Developing an encyclopaedic glossary of keywords, terminology, and tangible search terms that are geographically specific and relevant to key territories.
The Candidate:
Applicants will be expected to demonstrate:
- A good level of educational attainment (A-Level minimum, degree preferred)
- Self-motivation, drive, ambition, and resourcefulness
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills in English (additional languages an advantage)
- Strong organisational abilities, attention to detail, research, and analytical abilities
- Strong familiarity with LinkedIn and Microsoft 365
- The ability to multi-task and prioritise across multiple concurrent campaigns.
We want to hear from people who are ideally seeking a long-term career rather than just a job. The successful candidate can realistically expect to progress into a 360-consultant or talent acquisition position in the medium term, or a leadership role within research and/or operations.
What we can deliver, in return, includes:
- A competitive salary commensurate with your experience, skillset, and – most importantly – potential
- Open ended commission scheme based on placement billings.
- A transparent and collaborative team culture underpinned by the values of trust and integrity.
- A comprehensive onboarding process with ongoing training and development
- Clear opportunities to progress through the business as we continue to grow.
- A fabulous working environment in one of Leeds City Centre’s landmark office buildings
- A rapid selection and assessment process
- Good work/life balance with flexible hours tailored to individuals’ unique requirements and gym priority.
- Access to cutting edge tools, resources, technology, and software platforms.
- Team social events and incentive-based trips / weekends away
- (Qualifying) enrolment within a company-wide perks and discounts platform.
