Sales Director

A leading contract developer and manufacturer of cosmetics and skin care for national and international brands is presently seeking an accomplished and results-driven Sales Director for its senior leadership team.

The Position:

The appointed Sales Director will play a pivotal role in strengthening existing customer relationships, strategically acquiring new clients, and driving market expansion to achieve top-line growth for the company.  The successful candidate will  collaborate with internal stakeholders across the organization to ensure that revenue, profitability, and customer service objectives are met. Reporting directly to the Chief Operating Officer, this position requires a strategic thinker and proactive leader who can influence and elevate the sales function within the company.

The Candidate:

Applicants will be expected to demonstrate:

• A minimum bachelor’s degree in business, science, or a related field
• At least eight years’ experience as a senior sales or business leader within contract manufacturing of color cosmetics, skin care or related (eg cosmetic packaging)
• At least five years’ sales leadership experience (managing, coaching, leading a team)
• A dynamic, consultative, and influential communication style, with proven ability to tailor approaches to various audiences.
• The capacity to build strong relationships with clients and team members at all organizational levels.
• Proven ability to effectively organize, plan, and execute business strategies.
• Demonstrated ability to create, innovate, and deliver high-quality services and products.
• Proficiency in the use of computer software, including the ability to create professional business presentations.
• Willingness and ability to travel extensively or as needed to fulfil job responsibilities.
