Senior Associate

A dynamic and growing transaction advisory services firm is currently seeking a senior associate to facilitate/lead buy-side, sell-side and related transaction advisory engagements through excellent financial due diligence.

Responsibilities:

• Preparation of quality of earnings, cash proof, working capital, net debt and other ad-hoc financial analyses.
• Development of financial data books, including ledger-level build up and trending of the income statement and balance sheet and related sub-schedules.
• Working across multiple projects under tight time frames while maintaining precision with work product.
• Working with members of the engagement team and management to identify and resolve any client issues discovered during engagements
• Participating in industry and community networking events to expand professional connections.
• Gaining a comprehensive understanding of client operations, processes and business objectives, and utilizes that knowledge throughout engagements
• Working effectively in teams to provide quality service to clients
• Communicating appropriately (both verbally and electronically) to clients and firm associates

Requirements:

• Undergraduate degree required; CPA preferred but not required
• Prior transaction advisory experience
• Experience creating quality of earnings reports
• Advanced knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles and financial statements
• Appropriate understanding of financial reporting and analytics
• Proficiency in Excel modelling
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong commitment to professional and client service excellence
• Proven time management, organizational and prioritization skills
• Willingness to travel for engagements, if needed
