Solution Sales Executive

An established provider of advanced material handling systems, our client is looking to appoint an experienced Sales Executive to promote its automated storage and retrieval systems (ASRS), autonomous mobile robots (AMR), and warehouse execution system (WES) solutions.

The Opportunity:

This role involves developing long-term customer relationships, managing the sales cycle, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver tailored solutions, with key responsibilities being to:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing customers.
  • Lead the sales process from prospecting to closing complex material handling solutions.
  • Collaborate with engineering and project teams to deliver tailored, integrated solutions.
  • Develop and deliver compelling, solution-focused presentations.
  • Track sales activity and forecasts using CRM tools.
  • Identify customer needs and propose solutions that drive value.
  • Stay informed on market trends and competitive offerings.
  • Represent the company with professionalism and integrity.

Requirements:

The ideal candidate will have gained proven experience in complex material handling solution sales with a systems integrator, and be able to demonstrate:

  • A minimum bachelor’s degree in an applicable field
  • 10+ years’ success in complex solution sales
  • Strong knowledge of distribution center operations
  • A solid background in material handling and systems integration (ASRS, AMR, WES)
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • A willingness to travel (30–50% of the time)
  • The ability to engage and influence C-level executives
  • Strong interpersonal, organizational, and time management skills
  • The ability to tailor and deliver presentations to diverse audiences
